Benevolence Ministry
What is the benevolence ministry?
As Christians, we enjoy the privilege of demonstrating generosity with one another in times of need. While many benevolence requests can be met within the immediate community of a person’s neighborhood parish, there are occasional requests that exceed the resources of an individual neighborhood parish. Accordingly, the Sojourn Galleria Assembly of Elders has established a fund, called the Sojourn Galleria Benevolence Fund, as a way to “the favor of taking part in the relief of the saints” (2 Cor. 8:4).
We also believe that generosity can and should be extended to those who are not members of our community. Therefore the benevolence ministry application is also open to non-members.
